1.1 There is a delivery charge according to the product purchased. Delivery charges will vary and they are based on weight, delivery location and delivery service. Delivery costs are clearly shown at the ordering stage.
1.2 Delivery charges start from as little as £1.95. This service is a 1-3 working day delivery service which runs from Monday to Friday (Excluding Bank Holidays). Your product once purchased will be delivered via Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery. The cost for this service is £1.95 for anything weighing up to 100g. Our Parcelforce 48 delivery service applies to UK Mainland deliveries only. This service is a 2-3 Working Day delivery service which runs from Monday to Friday (Excluding Bank Holidays). The cost for this service is £6.95 for anything weighing up to 30kg. Therefore you can buy multiple items and we will box your items into one box so you pay no more than £6.95 as long as the weight is under a whopping 30kg. Additional charges will be applied for special delivery options or Non UK Mainland deliveries. The UK Mainland does not include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and Scilly.
1.3 Delivery of products in stock will normally be made within 2 working days from clearance of payment. Some items may be delivered direct from the manufacturers and may take up to 5-7 working days from clearance of payment. We will Endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. If we or our suppliers are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position and you should allow up to 14 days for dispatch of the goods. For delays of more than 14 days, you will have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you for the goods.

2.1 If you wish to cancel your order:
(a) you can notify us by email to sales@thegadgetchest.co.uk before we have dispatched the goods to you; or
(b) where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with clause 2.2 below.
2.2 You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time up to the end of 7 working days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you.
2.3 In the event of faulty goods they must be returned within 14 days of the shipping date.
2.4 Where goods are returned as faulty after 30 days of shipping we reserve the right to return the product to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. If this should happen then it is likely that the repair or replacement could take up to 30 days to process. In some cases we may advise you to contact the manufacturer directly as they offer tailored end user warranties and in some cases on-site replacement and are therefore better placed to resolve any problems.
2.5 To exercise your right of cancellation, and for your return to be processed you must first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation Number (RMA).
2.6 To obtain the RMA you must give written notice by email at returns@thegadgetchest.co.uk giving details of the goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery. Notification by phone is not sufficient.
2.7 Once we have received an email of intent to return goods a returns address will be provided with the RMA.
2.8 Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a full refund of the amount paid or an exchange credit as required.
2.9 The rights to return the goods to us as referred to in clause 2.2 will not apply in the following circumstances: -
in the event that the product has been used
in the case of software, audio or visual products, where the packaging has been unsealed.


The provisions of this clause 2.9 do not affect your statutory rights.
