Nothing can beat the exhilaration you feel after your first leap from a plane at 3,000 feet. This is one of the most challenging sports ever invented! Supervised by British Parachuting Association instructors, your ground training is rigorous and you must be fit. Jump from the plane on a "static line" that opens your steerable parachute automatically, freeing you to enjoy your breathtaking descent.

What happens on the day

Usually run over 2 days, with intensive parachute and landing training, as part of a small group.
When you arrive, you will be enrolled as a provisional member of the British Parachute Association and issued with the appropriate equipment. The first day will consist of ground training which is a mixture of practical and theory. Your static-line jump will usually take place on the second day.
If you wish to stay overnight, many parachuting clubs can offer inexpensive (but basic!) accommodation (this is not covered by your voucher). If you are interested you should enquire about this when you make your booking.

• Minimum age 16 (under 18’s need parental/guardian consent)
• Maximum age 50 unless very fit (participants over 40 require a doctor's certificate of fitness).
• Maximum height for males 6'2" (188kgs)
• Maximum height for females 5'9" (175cms)
• Maximum weight for males 15 stone (95kgs)
• Maximum weight for females 14 stone (89kgs)
• Your weight must be in proportion to your height
• You will be required to sign a Declaration Fitnes Form
• There are many conditions that may exclude you from parachuting, please check when booking
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue
