What happens on the day

When you arrive, you will normally be asked to sign an indemnity form which will also require parental/guardian signature for under 18's. Your training session will usually be shared with other drivers. You will be given an initial briefing, followed by track familiarisation and instruction from a qualified instructor before being allowed out solo in a single-seater racing car (once you are judged to be safe enough!).

Need to know

• Minimum age 17 (under 18’s need parental/guardian consent)
• Minimum height 5’ (152cms)
• Maximum height 6’4” (193cms)
• Maximum weight 18 stone (114kgs)
• You should be in reasonable health and agile enough to climb into the vehicle
• You must hold a full drivers license (for min 1 year at some locations)
• Please note that some schools may not operate in the winter months
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue
